Summer is here!

Despite the discretion of the Swiss woman; whoever is made in Brazil has your own colorful way of enjoying the summer.

First Day

I have to confess that I have been the most skeptical, ironic, unbalanced, pessimistic, drama-queen woman in these past months; before moving to Switzerland. Actually, all that was driven by an absolutely denial and of course, my commitment issues have not being my best friends soothing the moving process. Anyways, here I am, in Switzerland, the so called perfect-precise-boring land, Heidiland, in my own words: La-la-la Land... With expectations of a warm Spring weather (and not 8C), but with a big smile in my face for having had the guts to finally move in with my beloved one and my little cats and promising to myself to not look back.
On the way back home, I have no feelings towards anything. I just wanted to sleep. Deeply. So, I took my time to sleep. Hours and hours sleeping. No unpacking. eating. No nothing. Just pure sleeping.

Amazing how fast the second day came by, when you spending an entire day sleeping. Second day is working day. "Yey"! So I needed to put myself together. (Who in this f* world sets to come back from vacation on a Friday? Well, I did). Second day came with my first crisis in Swiss territory. I guess I was still in deep denial and slowly I started realizing the real-deal. This realization came with a severe panic attack (of course). I kept saying: "Focus on your work". "Focus on your work". "Focus on your work". That was my Friday's mantra.

The weekend was better (besides the second crises on Saturday): Intense-power cleaning, which changed drastically my bitchy to a Hello-Kitty mood. Bought wardrobes (My dreams of the WIC (Walk-In-Closet) from the Heineken TV ad are gone here). Visited family. Chosen a new car. Ate good food. Observed attentively any major rebellion on the streets of Zurich, as May 1st, Labor Day, is famous for the left wings folks going on the streets to protest against the government (Serious, I get really annoyed with this protests... Go to a 3rd world country to know what to protest for). But something good happened... I started acknowledging things here; the yellow and sunny fields of "Senf" flowers, the cows with their huge bells ringing, the green, the flowers... It is indeed, perfection. I just need to have the eyes to see it.
